Primecare Internal Medicine was established in 2008 by Dr. Garfield Samuels to provide comprehensive quality care, foster a strong patient-physician relationship and create avenues to excellent healthcare. Primecare also provides out-patient care to long term care/rehab facilities throughout Hampton Roads.
As the founder, Dr. Samuels took the initiative to establish a medical facility that would be flexible and suitable for all patients, hence committing to patients with or without insurance and providing a walk-in service for convenience.
About Dr. Samuels:
Dr. Garfield Samuels of Virginia Beach is committed to meeting his patient’s needs. He is a board-certified internist who specializes in hypertension and diabetes. His growing patient population was built on his medical training, experience and compassion. Dr. Samuels has been practicing Internal Medicine in the Hampton Roads area since 2005, serving patients in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and neighboring cities.
Dr. Samuels graduated from Ross University and completed his internship and residency at Stony Brook University, where early on in his career he gained interest in research and became active in research involving diabetes and gout. His primary objective is health and achieving the utmost patient satisfaction.
